What Escape Mode Travel collects

When you use the Find My Escape quiz or another contact or planning form on this site, Escape Mode Travel may collect your name, email address, optional phone number, preferred contact method, trip interests, planning window, traveler count, estimated budget range, departure airport, referral name, and notes you choose to provide. The page you came from and basic campaign-source information (such as the link or ad that brought you here) may be included with your request so we can understand how travelers found the site.

How the information is used

Your information is used to respond to your travel request, prioritize timely follow-up, prepare for a planning conversation, improve the inquiry experience, and understand which marketing sources produce genuine travel inquiries. After you submit the quiz, the site shows a short on-screen planning summary based on your answers. It is not sold.

Optional travel inspiration

If you separately choose to receive occasional travel inspiration and planning updates, Escape Mode Travel records that choice with your request. You can withdraw that permission at any time by replying to a message or contacting us. Declining marketing messages does not prevent us from responding to the trip request you submitted.

Referrals

The referral page is designed for sharing a link. Referred travelers submit their own information and may optionally name the person who referred them. Please do not submit another person’s contact information without their permission.

Cruise discovery quiz and emails

The cruise discovery page asks three quiz questions and shows a general result in your browser. The quiz answers are used to show that result. If you choose to receive your result by email, Escape Mode Travel collects your email address, optional first name, and the cruise interest you select, and sends the result to that address.

You can separately choose to receive a short series of cruise planning emails: four messages over eight days, followed by up to two cruise discoveries per month. If you choose the series, you are asked to confirm your email address before it begins. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to stop at any time. If you submit a trip request through Find My Escape, the series stops.

Your email address, interest, consent choices, and email activity (such as confirmation and unsubscribe) are stored in the website’s inquiry database so these messages can be sent on schedule. Declining the series does not prevent you from receiving the result you requested.

Measurement and advertising

This site uses Google Analytics to measure visits, which pages are viewed, where visitors come from, and when a quiz is completed. If advertising measurement tools are enabled, a completed inquiry may also be reported as a conversion so campaign performance can be measured. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies according to the provider’s policies, and you can limit them through your browser settings.

Optional Meta measurement on the cruise discovery page

On the cruise discovery page only, you can choose whether to allow Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to measure visits and email-result requests so the effectiveness of that advertising can be understood. This is off by default. If you allow it, Meta’s measurement tool loads in your browser and receives page-visit and request events, and Meta’s own privacy policy applies to that data. The tool is set up not to receive the contact details you type into the form. You can choose “Continue without it” and the quiz and emails work the same way. This choice is stored in your browser and is separate from your email preferences.

Service providers

Escape Mode Travel uses service providers that help host the website, receive and store inquiry records, and deliver requested messages. Completing the Find My Escape quiz does not automatically send you to another intake form. If you later choose to book, we may provide a secure supplier or travel-platform link, and that provider’s privacy terms will apply there.

Retention and your choices

Inquiry records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for travel planning, follow-up, recordkeeping, and legitimate business purposes. You may ask us to update or delete your inquiry information, or to stop contacting you.

Keep sensitive information out of the quiz

Do not submit passport images or numbers, passwords, payment-card information, or other highly sensitive documents through the quiz or ordinary email. We will provide an appropriate secure method if that information becomes necessary for a booking.
